Download gets bigger

The line-up for Download 2009 continues to grow as another eight acts are confirmed. Opeth, Meshuggah, Dir en Grey, Five Finger Death Punch, Steadl├╝r and UK acts You Me at Six and Lawnmower Deth. There will also be a very special appearance from ex-Guns ‘N’ Roses bassist Duff Mckagan, who brings his Duff Mckagan's Loaded to Download for the first time.

The festival line-up is starting to take shape now, with a huge variety of acts from The Prodigy to Slipknot. The variety is something which organisers are proud of boasting the international flavour of the festival. Dir en Grey from Japan, Opeth and Meshuggag from Sweden along with numerous American and British bands.

Also, festival organisers have got the Big Green Coach Company on board to making travel easier. Not only will this help festival goers with access but also it aims to reduce the carbon footprint of the festival.
