Green Day have revealed that their next album, ‘21st Century Breakdown’, will be released on May 15th. Front man, Billie Joe Armstrong, has said the album is “divided into three acts” and “follows a young couple, Christian and Gloria through the mess and promise of the centaury so far.”This album will be the follow up to 2004’s ‘American Idiot’, and is the bands eighth studio album since forming in 1987. In other Green Day news under the ‘Tours’ section of the bands official website there is a message saying "World Tour coming soon!" Green Day fans are looking set to have an exciting summer. The first single from the new album will be ‘Know Your Enemy’ set for release in late April.
